The Unity Rectifier, model UR-48-3, provides 48 VDC at 3 amps per modular unit that inserts in a rack mount shelf, which accepts up to 3 modules for N, N+1, and N+2 configurations. In case of critical dependence on the wireless network, additional 1U Unity Rectifier modules provide critical systems with redundant DC power, thus ensuring high reliability. Model UR-24-6, provides 24 VDC at 6 amps per modular rectifier.

Using a modular approach, this system does all the hard integration work for you. No need to source battery cells, mounting trays, interconnect cables, terminals, lugs, and circuit breakers because they are all included in the Battery Module System. Application 1: Unity Powers School District’s Network

Newmar’s 48 volt Unity Rectifier System, model 48-3, was selected to supply primary DC power and maintain battery back-up for a multi-million dollar licensed microwave project for a large school district in Arizona.

The Unity series rectifier is powering transmitters which are linked by point-to-point microwave technology connecting 47 separate locations in the district including schools, warehouses, administrative offices and other facilities. The network provides the school district with high speed connections to Internet, as well as data, video, and voice systems to increase communication and learning in the classroom.
Because the school district has critical dependence on this wireless network, additional Unity Rectifier modules provide the wireless system with redundant DC power, thus ensuring a high reliability.
